I have developed a job site for my latest project.

I use WordPress as framework. And then add in appropriate plug-ins. Twisted them together and add in some custom functions. You can see the site in action here: http://demo.ipandadesign.com/jobs/

Features:

Users can submit job listings.
User can edit job listings.
User can upload company logo.
Customize registration and login form
Email user when job listing is approved.
Email user with registration information.
Customize clean green theme

Download the Job site Package

If you want a run a same job site as mine, please download the package below. It contains all the files and database data. You can have your job site up and running easily.

Instructions

FIrst of all download the package above, and then unzip. Upload the “jobs” folder to your server

1. Open up ipjobs.sql with Notepad or other editor. Replace all occurence of the string “http://demo.ipandadesign.com/jobs” to your job site domain name.
2. Create a new database for your job site.
3. Export the edited ipjobs.sql to your new database
4. Edit wp-config.php file with your database details.
5. Visit your job site. The site should be up and running.
6. To login to your job site as admin. Click on the Log in Link on the right side bar.
7. admin name and password are both “admin”
8. That’s it.
